Performance ratio test of a photovoltaic power plant

Control measurement of the photovoltaic (PV) power plant production is the most exact method of verifying its real production and production efficiency.

The performance ratio test (PR test) is an important control indicator of the correct production of the PV power plant. Based on direct and independent measurement at the location, we will determine the real potential of your PV power plant to transform the energy of actually falling solar radiation into the corresponding quantity of electric power.

• Direct and independent measurement in the course of several days will ascertain the real production of the PV power plant and the production efficiency (performance ratio).
• We will assess the meteorological data and geographical conditions of the photovoltaic power plant location.
• We will ascertain the theoretical quantity of produced power and the estimated production efficiency.
• We will evaluate the variation between the estimated and real power production as well as the production efficiency of the PV power plant.

You will obtain:

• Assurance of correct functioning of your PV power plant.
• Confirmation of the real production efficiency and the estimated production of the PV power plant during its lifetime (year 1 through 15).
• Complex evaluation of the real performance and the production efficiency of the PV power plant independent of the quantity of actually falling solar radiation at the location.
• Information about the fact whether the real performance corresponds to the estimated production of the PV power plant.
• Description of discovered deficiencies of the power plant and recommendations for their removal.
